"We waited 1 hr 40 mins for a taxi. It was dark and very cold by the time we got a cab," one fan, John Harris, posted on Twitter under the handle RugbyCricketFan.
"There is often no public transport to get here, so everyone has to get a taxi from the same place and at the same time, and I'm not sure how effective that is," said another spectator.
Officials from the Roads and Transport Authority could not be reached for comment.
