Al Ain: Forecasters expect scattered rain today on Tuesday in the country, saying it could be associated with thunderstorm in some areas.
The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) said the rain is likely in the afternoon and evening. The weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy but the amount of clouds is expected to increase gradually.
A Dubai-based meteorologist also acknowledged the rain prediction, but added its chances are low. The areas such as but western region, coastal cities, and mountainous areas, however, do have little higher chances. The conditions would also be capable of producing dusty winds in some areas.
According to the weather bulletin of NCMS, the winds would be light to moderately rough but could gain speed to kick up dust in the internal areas. Temperature on Tuesday is expected to remain 20 to 41 degree Celsius across the country.
The continuous partly cloudy to cloudy conditions over the last two days have resulted in slight drop in daytime temperature. Forecasters believe that rain in the month of April in the UAE is unseasonal but not unusual.
