
Damascus: President Bashar Al Assad of Syria on Monday discussed with UAE Foreign Minister Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan the latest developments in the Arab region, particularly in Yemen, in light of the Gulf initiative to solve the crisis there.
Talks during the meeting also dealt with the measures taken by Syria as to overcome the current issues and boost the reform process at all levels, Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported.
Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Al Moalleman attended the meeting.
