Executive Director - Offshore Marine Services Ltd. - Sharjah

Job Description: Our client, an International Organization is looking to engage an Executive Director (ED) who will assist the Co-Initiators in the development of the project. The ED will be responsible for the overall implementation and establishment of the initiative. Furthermore, the ED will be responsible for building strategic relationships with Private Sector Partners and other associates throughout the region. The ED will also be responsible for the development of executive briefings and training programs in close cooperation with the American University of Sharjah (AUS), Knowledge Partners and other centers of excellence. In addition, the ED will lead a team of 2 - 3 staff members. The position will require residency in the UAE.  

This is an extraordinary opportunity for an individual with passion for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Corporate Governance and Social Entrepreneurship. Specific requirements include:

?Minimum of a Master's degree, preferably with continued education in CSR, Corporate Governance and Social Entrepreneurship;
?At least 10 years of professional experience in business, non-profit sector, government or an international organization, with 5 years of relevant experience in CSR, Corporate Governance and/or Social Entrepreneurship;
?In-depth knowledge of principles of CSR, Corporate Governance and Social Entrepreneurship, and of the practical application of those principles;
?Strong project management skills; ability to adopt multiple approaches in a fast-moving environment and to work effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines and goals;
?Excellent people skills; and
?Excellent written and oral communications skills.

All inclusive salary of USD 180K per annum will be provided.
