The Belgian Princess will be accompanied by as a Special Representative to the Roll Back Malaria (RBM) Partnership. Joined by Roll Back Malaria Partnership (RBM) Executive Director Professor Awa Marie Coll-Seck and Executive Director of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, Professor Michel Kazatchkine.
During her tour, Princess Astrid, who is RBM Special Representative, will also visit Kuwait and Qatar, according to a release by the Belgian Royal Palace.
The delegation is in contact with the authorities of the three Gulf countries over their role in fighting the three diseases.
