Have you spotted teenager gone missing in Al Ain?

Al Ain: A mother is desperately searching for her 14-year-old son, who went missing on Thursday from their home near Al Ain Mall.

Ebrahim Hassan Abdul, a British citizen, left home without telling anyone where he was going.

Mum Fatima Elmi said: "It was unlike Ebrahim to go out without telling us.

"He came back from school that day, went to the mosque, came back and then just left without telling us where he going.

"I thought he went to play football with his friends."

He did not take his mobile phone with him. "He always leaves his mobile at home and does not use it," his mum said, adding that she had contacted all his friends but none had seen him.

The family moved to the UAE from the UK two years ago. "We do not have any family or friends here, so I do not know where he could have gone," Fatima said.

Police are looking for the boy, who was last seen on an Al Ain Mall security camera crossing Othman Bin Affan Street at 5.23pm.

Ebrahim was wearing a brown T-shirt, white shorts, black sports shoes and carrying a red and black England sports backpack. He is in 9th grade at Al Dhafra Private School and has three younger sisters and two younger brothers.
