Sales Engineer - Construction Chemicals - Geco Chemical Co Limited - Sharjah

- Negotiate orders on short term/blanket orders

- Negotiate with OEM's for annual contract

- Prepare monthly forecast

- Acheive monthly sales targets based on the yearly target assigned by the Mgmt

- Carry out market research, competitor & customer surveys & forward suggestions to mgmt

- Explore new suppliers based on market demand

- Explore new markets for our existing product range to improve our sales & customer strength

- Prepare enquiries to suppliers

- Provide 'Monthly Sales Report' to the Mgmt

- Develop & implement special sales activities to sell & reduce old stock

- Assist in conducting seminars on key products for re-launching, introduction of new products & product awareness

- Attend training & develop relevant knowledge & skills

- Maintain close relationship with principals

- Act as a contact between the company & its existing & potential markets

- Gain a clear understanding of customers' business & requirements

- Establish new, & maintain existing & long term relationship with customers

- Record & maintain computerized customer database

- Extensive & effective follow-up with customers to accomplish all other works that may be required to close sales

- Coordinate & follow-up with stores/plant for timely delivery of materials & ensure that the materials are obtained as per specification provided

- Review 'Receivable report' & closely coordinate with Accounts dept to ensure timely delivery of receivables

- Balance team & individual responasibilities while contributing to building positive team spirit

- Communicate frequently with colleagues to offer & obtain information
