Umm Al Quwain: His Highness Shaikh Saud Bin Rashid Al Mualla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, issued a law establishing the Umm Al Quwain Executive Council.
The law to establish the council will enhance the principle of consultation during legislation relating to the government affairs, public facilities and economic developmental projects as well as when the local departments and public institutions and authorities are exercising their jurisdiction.
Shaikh Saud also issued Emiri Decree No. 3 of 2011 appointing Shaikh Rashid Bin Saud Bin Rashid Al Mualla, Crown Prince of Umm Al Quwain, as Chairman of the council.
The decree comes into effect from the date of its issuance and is to be published in the official gazette.
