Yard Manager - Sharjah, OilExec - Sharjah


An offshore oil and gas contractor which specialises in the inspection and maintenance of offshore drilling, accommodation modules, early production units, fixed structures and ship repairs maintenance requires a Yard Manager to join them on a permanent residential basis in Sharjah.

Reporting to the Operations Director the main objective is to ensure that the delegated functions are carried out efficiently and diligently according to the standards and policies of the company.

The main responsibilities are:

?? To meet and exceed sales and profit targets/ Budgets.

?? To manage the inflow and outflow of materials in such a manner that it is accurately received and stored properly to ensure against damage and theft for efficient loading.

?? Manage the outflow to provide a high level of customer service, with high accuracy and maximum protection from damage and shrink.

?? To properly maintain the equipment, facilities and appropriate records at a high standard.

?? To operate the department at a high level of productivity, utilizing excellent control measures.

?? To create and maintain a team atmosphere in the department and with other departments.

?? To maximise the use of the available resources and achieve high productivity utilizing excellent cost control measures.

?? To make timely decisions and take corrective action where necessary.

?? Maintain a team oriented environment with high morale.

?? To ensure that the yard is managed accordingly.

?? Receive of all outside freight.

?? Planning each days activities, discussing the plan with team members and insuring that the plan is executed.

?? Maintaining company standards on housekeeping and equipment, the general condition and merchandising of the yard.

?? Monitoring the functions to assure that it is being done accurately. In accordance with company policy and on timely basis.
